RefurbishedCircular EconomySustainabilityTech Journey

When you sell your phone to SellEazy, its journey is just beginning. Refurbishing is a rigorous process that gives tech a second life and keeps it out of landfills.

Step 1: Receiving and Data Wipe

The moment a phone arrives, it is weighed and photographed. Then, it undergoes a military-grade data wipe that overwrites every sector of the storage to ensure the previous owner's data is gone forever.

Step 2: The 70-Point Inspection

Technicians run diagnostic software to check:

  • Battery health and cycle count.
  • Screen brightness and "dead pixels."
  • All sensors (FaceID, Accelerometer, etc).
  • Speaker and microphone clarity.

Step 3: Restoration

If a screen is cracked, it's replaced with a high-quality OEM-spec panel. If the battery is below 85%, a new one is installed. The device is then polished to remove minor scuffs.

Step 4: Re-Certification

The phone is tested again. Only if it passes every single test is it granted a "Certified Refurbished" status.

Step 5: The New Home

The phone is boxed up and sold to a new owner—often at 40% less than the price of a new one. This "circular economy" reduces the demand for new mining and manufacturing.

By selling your phone, you're not just getting cash; you're participating in a global movement toward sustainable tech.
